At 31, she passed the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) – Secondary Level, marking another milestone in her academic and professional journey.

Homoroc currently serves as Associate Professor and Program Head of the College of Business Administration at World Citi Colleges – ATC North Manila.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) at Bulacan State University, before pursuing graduate studies, law, and her ongoing PhD journey.

In an exclusive interview with The Summit Express, she shared that she pursued teaching because it has always felt like her true purpose, not just a career choice.

“Teaching continues to challenge me, motivate me, and bring me joy,” she said, noting that every day in the classroom gives her fulfillment and meaning.

Her path to the LET was not easy, as she managed her duties as professor, law student, and PhD candidate while relying mostly on self-review.

“If there’s one thing I learned from preparing for the LET, it’s this: Study with purpose,” she added.

“When I found out I passed the board exam after my law school finals, it was one of the most unforgettable and emotional moments of my life,” she recalled.

“I realized that I never stop studying since Kinder, Elementary, High School, College, then work as a Professor, continue Masteral, MBA then Doctor of Philosophy, now PhD candidate, and Certified Tourism Professional (CTP), and now LET passer and hopefully finished my Law school and become Atty. someday,” she reflected.

Passing the board wasn’t just a personal win—it was a doorway to a career full of responsibility, service, and continuous learning.

“But in those toughest moments, two simple words kept echoing in my mind: puhon and padayon,” she recalled.

Beyond the classroom, she has also been recognized with the Meritissimus Award, the highest merit distinction, along with back-to-back Presidential Awards from JCI, a local organization of young leaders in Baliwag, Bulacan.

She was also honored with the Dakilang Filipino Awards 2025, recognizing her contributions as an educator and leader.

Her message to aspiring teachers is simple: trust the process, stay committed, and keep moving forward.

Prof. Homoroc’s journey is far from over, as she now looks ahead with hope to one day becoming a lawyer while continuing to inspire through teaching.

“Passing the board wasn’t just a personal win—it was a doorway to a career full of responsibility, service, and continuous learning.”
