MANILA, Philippines – Malacañang has declared special non-working holidays in 15 areas across the country in September 2025.
These holidays mark local founding anniversaries, cultural celebrations, and historical events, giving residents well-deserved breaks to enjoy festivities.
Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin signed the proclamations on behalf of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
“It is but fitting and proper that the people be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration,” the proclamation stated.
