MANILA, Philippines – The August 2025 Sanitary Engineer licensure exam (SELE) results, which include the complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing school and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Sanitary Engineering on Friday, August 29, 2025, immediately after the exams.
As announced, 65 out of 125 (52%) successfully passed the August 2025 SELE.
Lara Isobel Estropia Valladolid of Mapúa University (MU)–Manila topped the board with an outstanding 85.36%.
Donne Romir Hernandez Arenal, also from MU–Manila, followed closely in second place with 84.18%.
Mapúa University (MU)–Manila emerged as the lone top-performing school, achieving a 94.74% passing rate, with 18 out of 19 examinees passed the board exam.
The computer-based Sanitary Engineering board exam was administered on August 27, 28 and 29, 2025 in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, and Rosales.

RELEASE OF RESULTS
According to PRC Resolution No. 1927 series of 2024, the target release of the August 2025 Sanitary Engineer board exam is on Monday, September 1, 2025, one (1) working day after the test.
But due to the CBLE nature of the exams, it is possible that PRC will release results immediately after the test similar to the February 2025, August 2024 SELE, and February 2024 exams. We advise takers to closely monitor results right after the exam on Friday, August 29.
Update (August 29, 2:00 PM): The PRC has confirmed that the SELE results will be released today.
According to the PRC: “Results will be out in a few hours! Be ready and get primed up as the August 2025 Sanitary Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination results will be revealed soon!”
REGISTRATION OF PASSERS
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to http://www.prc.gov.ph/ and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: Starting October 6, 2025
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
- notice of admission (for identification only)
- 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
- 2 sets of documentary stamps
- 1 piece short brown envelope
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
VERIFICATION OF RATINGS
In just few working days after the release of results, all takers may verify their ratings online through PRC's verification of rating page. Provide the required information in the appropriate fields to verify your identity.
COVERAGE OF EXAM
The three-day examination covered the following subjects: environmental engineering, public health engineering (Day 1), sanitary science as applied to buildings and civil engineering (Day 2) and waste water engineering and water supply engineering (Day 3).
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2025 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination (SELE), 138 out of 195 examinees passed. Western Mindanao State University–Zamboanga City led the schools with a 93.75% passing rate (15 out of 16).
In the August 2024 SELE, 105 out of 156 passed. The University of Southeastern Philippines–Davao City emerged on top with a 90.91% passing rate (10 out of 11).
Meanwhile, in the February 2024 board exam, 216 out of 300 examinees successfully passed. The University of Baguio secured the highest spot with 88.89% (16 out of 18).
Notably, results for the past three examinations were released immediately after the final testing day.
