MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases today, August 29, 2025, the complete results of the August 2025 Sanitary Engineering Computer-Based Licensure Examination (CBLE), including the list of top-performing schools and the overall performance of schools.
Mapúa University (MU)–Manila was the lone top performing school with 94.74% passing rate (18 out of 19 passed).
The CBLE for Sanitary Engineers was conducted on August 27, 28, and 29, 2025 in testing centers located in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, and Rosales.

The performance of schools in the August 2025 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation" is as follows:
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2025 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination (SELE), Western Mindanao State University–Zamboanga led the schools with a 93.75% passing rate (15 out of 16 passed), followed by Batangas State University–Alangilan with 86.21% (25 out of 29 passed).
During the August 2024 SELE, the University of Southeastern Philippines–Davao City emerged on top with a 90.91% passing rate (10 out of 11 passed), while Mapúa University–Manila placed second with 87.88% (29 out of 33 passed).
In the February 2024 exam, the University of Baguio secured the highest spot with 88.89% (16 out of 18 passed), followed by NU–Manila with 82.14% (23 out of 28 passed).
For the August 2023 exams, no school qualified for the list of top-performing institutions.
Earlier, in the January 2023 exam, NU–Manila topped the schools with 90.91% (30 out of 33 passed), while Mapúa University–Manila followed with 88.00% (22 out of 25 passed).
