MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the results of August 2025 Criminologist licensure examination (CLE) on Friday, September 12, 2025. This includes the list of top performing schools and performance of schools.
The PRC and the Board of Criminology administered the second Criminology Licensure Examination (CLE) this year on August 1, 2, and 3, 2025 (Friday to Sunday).
The exam was held in various testing centers across the country, including Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Palawan, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Zamboanga, Bacolod, Bayambang, Bohol, Catarman, Cauayan, Dumaguete, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, and Kidapawan.

Here's the performance of schools in the August 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":
PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS
In the February 2025 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE), the University of Iloilo emerged as the top-performing school (200 or more examinees) with a 96.44% passing rate, as 271 out of 281 examinees succeeded. The University of the Cordilleras (UC) followed with 91.50%, or 183 out of 200 passers.
For the July 2024 CLE, the University of Mindanao – Davao City led the large-school category with a 90.87% passing rate (189 out of 208). The University of Iloilo placed second with 90.76% (216 out of 238).
In February 2024, Tarlac State University stood out with a perfect 100% passing rate, as all 89 of its examinees passed. Cavite State University ranked second with 98.55% (136 out of 138).
Earlier, in the August 2023 exams, King’s College of the Philippines Inc. – Benguet posted the highest passing rate at 88.89% (56 out of 63). The University of the Cordilleras followed with 83.72% (72 out of 86).
