MANILA, Philippines – Classes on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, have been cancelled in several areas due to inclement weather and flooding.
State weather bureau PAGASA said Monday at 11 a.m. that heavy rainfall due to Southwest Monsoon or habagat may be experienced until Tuesday afternoon in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Zambales, and Bataan.
"Forecast rainfall may be higher in mountainous and elevated areas. Moreover, impacts in some areas may be worsened by significant antecedent rainfall," PAGASA added.
