Mga Abangers,” it said, on Tuesday, July 22.
This is when netizens grew even more critical, joined by celebrities Jake Ejercito and Jessy Mendiola.
“There’s a time and place for trying to be funny— this isn’t one of them,” Jake said.
“Is this supposed to be funny?” Jessy reacted.

In an interview with GMA Integrated News’ Unang Balita this Wednesday, July 23, Remulla clarified that he wasn’t minimizing the public’s hardships, however, he was simply trying to lift their spirits.
From now on, Remulla will be the one issuing announcements regarding the suspension of classes during disasters or severe weather.
Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Dave Gomez also informed Malacañang reporters that Remulla has been "authorized to issue announcements on behalf of the Cabinet and the Palace," especially since delays in suspension announcements have been causing problems for local government units (LGUs).
