MANILA, Philippines – SM Supermalls, the country's largest chain of shopping malls, has released its 2021 Christmas Holidays and New Year 2022 mall hours schedule for Metro Manila and other malls nationwide.
Majority of its branches will open at 9:00 a.m. on December 24 and 31 and will limit its operating hours until 7:00 p.m. to give way for the Christmas Day and New Year celebration.
On January 1, 2022, SM malls will open at 12:00 noon and will close at 10:00 in the evening.

Pursuant to the latest government directive placing select cities under Alert Level 2 from November 5 to December 31, 2021:
- Select malls are now open to all customers, subject to additional guidelines from the LGU.
- Minors are welcome and need to be accompanied by fully-vaccinated parent or guardian when going for dine-in, amusement centers and other indoor facilities.
- Maximum 50% capacity in indoor venues for fully-vaccinated adults who may bring in minors regardless of their vaccination status.
- Maximum 70% capacity for outdoor venues that are open to all customers of all ages.
- Shops and restaurants with Safety Seal are allowed additional 10% capacity
- Minimum health protocols shall be strictly maintained.
