As many looked back at the colorful life of Mahal, many could help but think that the actress might have left a premonition before her passing. A week before Mahal's death, she posted a vlog via her YouTube channel. In her vlog, Mahal had a heartwarming reunion with her former loveteam Mura.
Mahal traveled all the way to Guinobatan, Albay to see Mura. Years ago, the two were being paired on the noontime show "Masayang Tanghali Bayan" where they were mainstays as co-hosts. In their final reunion, Mahal didn't hesitate to lend a helping hand to her friend. She gifted Mura with groceries, a sack of rice and P5,000 cash. The heartwarming reunion is now made more special because Mahal's message to Mura sounded like her final goodbye.
Mahal can be heard telling her friend, "Yan ang tulong ko sa ‘yo. At least, ngayon lang ako nakabawi... Para hindi ka maubusan, meron ka nang pagkain at hindi ka na masyadong lalabas."
She even offered to include Mura in her job stints and shared how glad she feels that she was able to visit him in his place.
“At least nakapunta rin ako dito kasi ngayon lang ako nakapunta ng bundok. Hanggang sa tumanda ako, at uugod-ugod, siyempre pupunta pa rin ako dito. Pag may raket, iaano kita," Mahal said.
Mura couldn't help but be emotional when Mahal told him, "Kapag halimbawa nawala ako sa mundo, mayro’n pang konting tulong ako sa ‘yo."
On social media, netizens admitted feeling "goosebumps" on Mahal's message saying it was the actress' premonition.
According to Mahal's sister, the actress passed away in a hospital in Batangas.
