PMAEE RESULTS 2026 — The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) released on Thursday, October 1, 2026, the results of the 2026 PMA Entrance Examination (PMAEE), announcing the complete list of successful examinees and the top 10 passers.

A total of 1,216 out of 25,452 qualified examinees passed the 2026 PMAEE, equivalent to a 4.78% passing rate.

PMA said it received 36,596 online applications for this year's entrance examination. Of these, 26,339 applicants reported to their designated testing sites, while 25,452 were qualified to take the examination. Only 1,216 successfully passed and will advance to the next stage of the PMA admissions process.

2026 PMA Entrance Exam Schedule

The 2026 PMA Entrance Examination was conducted in different regional schedules from July to September 2026.

  • July 11–12, 2026 — Eastern Mindanao
  • July 25–26, 2026 — Western Mindanao
  • August 8–9, 2026 — Visayas
  • August 22–23, 2026 — National Capital Region (NCR), CALABARZON, MIMAROPA and Bicol Region
  • September 5–6, 2026 — Central and Northern Luzon

The examinations were administered at designated testing centers nationwide by the PMA Office of Cadet Recruitment and Admission (OCRA).

What Happens After the PMAEE?

Passing the PMA Entrance Examination does not automatically guarantee admission to the Philippine Military Academy. Successful examinees must still complete the succeeding stages of the selection and admission process.

The next major stage is the Complete Physical Examination (CPE), which will be conducted at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center in Camp Victoriano K. Luna, V. Luna Avenue, Quezon City.

Successful examinees may also be required to undergo the following stages:

  • Complete Physical Examination
  • Medical examination
  • Physical Fitness Test
  • Psychological and neuropsychiatric assessment
  • Aptitude for Service Interview
  • Submission of clearances and other supporting documents
  • Cadet Procurement Board deliberation
  • Final appointment as a PMA cadet

Applicants who successfully complete the required stages will be evaluated by the Cadet Procurement Board. Those who meet all requirements may be endorsed for official appointment to the incoming PMA class.

Requirements for PMAEE Passers

Successful examinees should prepare the documents required by the PMA Office of Cadet Recruitment and Admission. These may include:

  • Barangay Clearance
  • PNP Clearance
  • Court Clearance
  • Mayor's Clearance
  • Parent's Consent
  • Original and photocopy of PSA Birth Certificate
  • Form 137, Form 138, or Transcript of Records
  • Valid identification card
  • PMAEE examination permit
  • Other documents required by OCRA

The complete documentary requirements, reporting schedule, and designated venue will be provided through the official instructions issued by the Philippine Military Academy.

Important: Applicants should not report to any facility or undergo any succeeding admission activity without first receiving official instructions from PMA.

About the PMA Entrance Examination

The PMA Entrance Examination is designed to assess the academic and reasoning abilities of aspiring cadets. The examination covers the following areas:

  • Mathematics — Algebra and Geometry
  • English — Grammar, Composition, Reading and Comprehension
  • Abstract Reasoning — Verbal, Numerical and Pattern Analysis

PMA Admission Qualifications

Applicants for admission to the Philippine Military Academy must meet the prescribed qualifications, including the following:

  • Must be a natural-born or naturalized Filipino citizen
  • Must be physically fit and of good moral character
  • Must never have been married
  • Must not be pregnant
  • Must have no legal obligation to support a child or children
  • Must be at least a Grade 12 graduate with a general average of 85% or higher
  • Must have no administrative or criminal case
  • Must be at least 17 years old and not more than 22 years old on the day of admission
  • Must pass the PMA Entrance Examination
  • Must meet the prescribed barefoot height requirement of at least 5 feet and not more than 6 feet 4 inches
  • Must pass the Complete Physical and Medical Examination
  • Must pass the Physical Fitness Test and Aptitude for Service Interview

PMA cadets undergo four years of academic, military, leadership and physical training at the Philippine Military Academy in Baguio City.

Previous PMAEE Results

The Philippine Military Academy (PMA) Entrance Examination has remained highly competitive in recent years, with only a small percentage of qualified examinees advancing to the next stage of the admission process.

In the 2025 PMA Entrance Examination, 1,436 out of 24,671 qualified examinees passed, equivalent to a 5.82% passing rate. The examination was conducted from July 26 to September 21, 2025, across 48 testing centers nationwide, with the results released on October 18, 2025.

Amanda Isabel Tolentino Guzman of the Philippine Science High School – Bicol Region Campus topped the 2025 PMAEE. Gwen Kyla Polo Phalasholah of the Philippine Science High School – Central Mindanao Campus ranked second, while Aafia Khim Alzeynaah Pohanes Lomondaya of Albert Einstein School, Inc. placed third.

In 2024, the PMAEE recorded 1,099 passers out of 21,796 examinees, equivalent to a 5.04% passing rate. The examination was administered in four regional clusters from August 10 to September 22, 2024, and the results were released by PMA on October 30, 2024.
