MANILA, Philippines – The Miss Universe Philippines (MUP) 2021 grand coronation is set today, September 30 at the Henann Resort Convention Center in Alona Beach in Panglao, Bohol. The winner will represent the country in the 70th Miss Universe pageant in December 2021 in Eilat, Israel.
Organizers said there will be a limited live audience or 100 “gold” seats only during the production of the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 finale competition due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Fans, pageant enthusiasts and those who missed the 'gold' tickets can watch the Coronation Night online via livestream.

For those who missed the preliminaries, ABS-CBN will bring the Q&A Special Show on October 1 and Swimsuit and Evening Gown Preliminaries on October 2 via iWantTFC, ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel and TFC IPTV.
Twenty-eight (28) delegates from around the country will compete live and in-person for the title. They were chosen from the series of challenges that trimmed the final cut from initially chosen 100 to 30.
But on September 13, delegates from Zambales and Davao City withdrew from the competition due to dengue fever and after testing positive for COVID-19, respectively.
Rabiya Mateo, the first-ever Miss Universe Philippines under the new pageant franchise holder, will crown her successor at the end of the event.
KC Montero will return as host, while Sam Concepcion and Michael Pangilinan will perform at the event.
