Meanwhile, Kakai and her agency have yet to issue an official statement on the issue. The comedienne, however, posted a cryptic message on Instagram about being hounded for being beautiful.

“Hooh hirap pag sobrang gandaaa. ISMAYL nalang si Tyang sa mga taong ayaw tumigil,” Kakai wrote.

Last September 2020, Kakai posted a throwback video of her and Mario during a Gandang Gabi Vice guesting for their movie “Suddenly It’s Magic.” Kakai recalled the fond memories she had with the Thai actor which she said makes her feel “kilig” in fondness. The singer also revealed how Mario was “authentic” and very good to her.

In the same post, Kakai thanked Mario and stated, “Ang sarap ng feeling na kapag naalala kita, puro masaya lang nagpaflash sa utak ko. Salamat sa pagdaan sa buhay ko.”

In a much earlier interview on Tonight with Boy Abunda, Kakai disclosed the “real score” between her and Mario. “Iba po kasi yung naranasan ko kay Mario kasi wala naman po kaming relasyon,” she said. Asked if she fell for the Thai actor, Kakai clarified, “I fell for his realness.”

She also admitted that they were already saying “I love you” to each other. When Tito Boy further asked if it meant something romantic, Kakai said she doesn’t know but she accepted it and responded the same way.
