Gigo continues to maintain his innocence on the death of the flight attendant. He agreed to reveal the details of the night when Christine passed away to prove that he is not hiding anything. "Alam ko ang nangyari, at least sa pananaw ko, yung nakita ko," he said.

According to Gigo, he was invited by his close friends Rommel Galido (Rom) and John Paul Reyes Halili (JP) to join a New Year's Eve party at City Garden Hotel in Makati City. It was Christine who booked the hotel rooms. That night was the first time that Gigo met Christine.

The party began in Room 2209 of the hotel as Gigo joined Christine, Rommel and John Paul. Later on, they moved to Room 2207, a separate room they also rented for the night. According to Gigo, they were all gays inside the room.

They even played "Hep, Hep, Hooray" where Christine won. When they returned to Room 2209, Christine even joked about the prize she got for winning, “Oh my God, five hundred lang pala, akala ko P1,500.”

RELATED STORIES

Gigo said it was the last time he had a talk with Christine that night. He went on to share the other bonding moments they did inside the room.

He said they even did a TikTok video using Christine's phone. They had so much fun redoing the recording over 10 times. He added that Christine even went on Bigo Live where Gigo described her doing "nagpapa-cute lang."

LIQUORS AND PARTY DRUGS?

When asked if there were any party drugs involved that night, Gigo said he was not aware of any. He said they drank whiskey and tequila.

During the initial interviews of the police, they said one friend of Christine said that Christine suspected that her drink was spiked. Gigo reacted, "Wala po akong nakitang nagti-take. Hindi ko rin alam saan galing yun. Very allergic po ako sa drugs.”

At around 3 or 4:00 am, Gigo said he went to sleep.

FOUND DEAD IN THE CR

Gigo said he woke up at around 12 noon and learned about Christine's situation when Rom entered the Comfort Room. He said, "Nagising po ako mga 12 [noon] siguro. Kasi tumatawag yung nanay ko. Nung nag-reply ako sa message ng nanay ko, nakita ko si Rom, pumasok ng CR. A minute later, ayun na po.”

Rom panicked when he realized that Christine was no longer moving and breathing. It was then that Gigo and JP went to the CR and found Christine inside the bathtub. They removed her from the tub and placed her on the floor where Gigo performed CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) to try and revive Christine.

After asking for help, the hotel manager and head of security arrived in the room and advised them to bring Christine to the hospital. However, instead of a stretcher, they were given a wheelchair.

BRUISES

According to Gigo, they had a hard time carrying Christine on the wheelchair because she kept on slipping and falling. He said there were many times that Christine fell on her knees as they were pushing the wheelchair. It was Rom who went with Christine to the hospital as Gigo and JP settled the hospital bills.

POLICE

When Gigo arrived at the hospital, the police were already there. He said they cooperated but he asked that his lawyer be present. At the Makati Police Station, it was only Rommel that was asked for his statement. They were in custody for four hours until Gigo's lawyer assisted.

Gigo said, "Pinauwi po kami. Hindi po ako tumakbo gaya ng sinasabi nila. Pinauwi po kami nang maayos. Ngayon, nalaman ko na lang po na na-detain na yung kaibigan ko, na wala pa ngang autopsy, wala pang kaso. Naawa po ako sa mga kaibigan ko na part ng LGBT community, pwede po kasi silang pagtripan dun."

DENIES RAPE

Gigo admitted he is gay and so are the rest of his friends who were at their party. He said there was no rape and that while he was the newcomer, he saw how everyone loved each other.

Gigo said Christine's death was difficult for everyone. "Nawalan po sila ng kaibigan. Ang sakit nga nung nawala na nga ang kaibigan, 'tapos kayo pa ang inakusahang pumatay?" he said.

ROM CALLS CHRISTINE'S MOM

Gigo said he was there when Rom called Sharon, Christine's mother about what happened. He said it was painful to hear the mother trying to understand that her daughter was already gone.

Ang sakit," he said.

In the end, Gigo said he knows that they didn't leave Christine until the end. "Nandun kami, minahal namin si Tin. Hindi namin siya iniwan," he said.
