Englis also expressed how much he loves her and they are like family. He continued, “Christine Dacera, wherever you are now. Always remember, mahal na mahal ka namin. You are a family to us.

Hindi ko na sana kailangan sabihin to dahil alam ng mga real friends natin yan na mas kilala tayo. Alam mo iyan. We will try to survice these harassments and fake news spreading kahit na halos di na namin kaya. Pati mga pamilya nadadamay na. Nagdadasal kami. God is our witness and you Tin. I know di ka na natutuwa sa mga nangyayari. Matatapos ang investigation and this shall too pass. Rest in peace. You will always have a spot in our hearts.”

Three of the suspects namely John Pascual Dela Serna III, Rommel Daluro Galido and John Paul Reyes Halili were already charged with rape with homicide during inquest proceedings at the Prosecutor’s Office in Makati City on Monday.

Aside from Englis, the other suspects that have yet to taken in custody are: Gregorio Angelo de Guzman, Louie de Lima, Clark Jezreel Rapinan, Mark Anthony Rosales, Jammyr Cunanan, Valentine Rosales, a certain Ed Madrid; and a certain Paul.

According to the police’s initial basis for the rape with homicide charge, Makati City Police chief Col. Harold Depositar said, “The victim had lacerations and sperm in her genitalia.” She also had bruises, contusions and scratches on her arms and legs. Depositar added that Dacera’s death may have initially been due to natural causes (aneurysm) but apparently there were facts that contributed to it.
