MANILA, Philippines – The ten (10) official entries for the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) are now available for online streaming worldwide via Upstream, GMovies partner for video content.

If you’re using a PH SIM on your GMovies account (whether you’re in the Philippines or abroad), you can watch an MMFF 2020 movie for only P250.

5. Start streaming on Upstream or watch later from “My Shows” tab at GMovies.

1. Download the GMovies app from Google Playstore.

2. Launch the app and sign up or register to an account on GMovies.

3. On the home page or “Stream Now” tab, select desired MMFF film.

4. View movie details then proceed to payment for rental of video.

5. Select preferred payment method and complete checkout process.

6. Start streaming on UPSTREAM or watch later from “My Shows” tab at GMovies.

For Mobile IOS

1. Download the app from Apple Appstore.

2. Launch the app and sign up or register to an account on GMovies.

3. On the home page or “Stream Now” tab, select desired video.

4. View movie details then click “Learn More”.

5. Proceed to gmovies.com.ph and sign up your GMovies account.

NOTE: iOS users can only complete their rental on the web.

6. View movie details then proceed to payment for rental of video.

7. Select preferred payment method and complete checkout process.

8. Start streaming on UPSTREAM or watch later from “My Shows” tab on GMovies app.

Payment options and vouchers

Payment options are credit or debit card, GCash, Globe mobile load, over the counter (ECPay).

If you have voucher code, input at the designated box. Once the system has verified the validity of your code, a check will show on the side of the box. Discount will then automatically be applied upon checkout.

MMFF 2020 Vouchers are available via Shopee or Lazada.

Streaming reminders

Though the MMFF will run until January 7, take note that once you booked your ticket, you should start watching within 5 days and finish within 1 day (24 hours) after your first play.

Streaming is strictly capped to one device at a time. If you want to watch on another device, make sure that you hit the pause button of the video player on the other device or wait for a few minutes to continue playing video on your current device.

GMovies recommends using the following browsers for optimal viewing experience: Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox. Streaming does not currently work on Microsoft EDGE.

How to watch MMFF 2020 using Chromecast?

Upstream said it is possible to cast MMFF movie on TV using Chromecast technology. Play the movie on your smartphone or laptop and check out the "Cast Icon" if available. Make sure your TV has built-in / installed or external device with Chromecast.

How to watch MMFF 2020 using HDMI?

1. Make your TV has HDMI port.

2. Plug a compatible HDMI cable on your TV and device (smartphone or laptop).

3. Enjoy watching the film on your TV.

  1. My wife paid 250 pesos thru globe mobile load on Dec 25 but didn't watch until now. How can she watch the movie of her choice now?
