Restored services include voice, text and internet connectivity.

"Customers in areas badly hit by Typhoon Rolly in these two provinces may now access mobile and data services for their critical communication needs," the company said.

Globe’s network operations teams have also been working alternate shifts and traveling long distances to restore severely affected cell sites, to complete restoration in remaining areas of ground-zero typhoon site, Catanduanes.

In a separate advisory, the Ayala-led telecom also provisioned free data to its broadband customers in the provinces of Albay, Catanduanes, and Camarines Sur. They received volume of data seeded to their Globe mobile subscriptions while their monthly bill will be reversed corresponding to the days when they experienced no connection.

Meanwhile, PLDT's wireless arm Smart Communications announced that it has “normalized” its services in Albay, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes and other typhoon-hit areas.
