MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the application schedule for the March 2026 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

The application period is from December 3, 2025, to February 3, 2026. The examination will take place on Sunday, March 15, 2026, across major testing centers including Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Additional test centers include Bacolod, Batanes, Bayambang, Bohol, Cauayan, Digos, Dumaguete, General Santos, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Kidapawan, Laguna, Lipa (Batangas), Maasin (Southern Leyte), Marinduque, Mati, Nueva Vizcaya, Oroquieta (Misamis Occidental), Romblon, Sablayan (Occidental Mindoro), and Tagum.

The results of the March 2026 LET are scheduled for release on May 15, 2026.

Eligibility / Qualifications

1. Citizenship and Age

  • Filipino citizen (or foreigner with reciprocity under PRC rules).
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Good moral character with no conviction for offenses involving moral turpitude.

2. Educational Requirements

  • Elementary Level: Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) or equivalent with required professional education units.
  • Secondary Level:
    • Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) with a major, or
    • Bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences with at least 18 professional education units.
  • Equivalent degrees must meet PRC/CHED standards for the teaching level.

Documents Required for Application

For First-Time Examinees

Apply online via PRC LERIS and prepare the following documents (bring originals + photocopies):

  • Transcript of Records (TOR) – scanned photo + remark “For Board Examination Purposes Only”
  • PSA Birth Certificate
  • PSA Marriage Contract (if applicable)
  • Valid Government-Issued ID (UMID, passport, driver’s license)
  • Payment of Examination Fee – usually ₱900.00
  • Documentary Stamps as required
  • Notice of Admission (NOA) – print after requirements are verified

For Repeaters / Retakers

  • Reapply via LERIS
  • Present previous Notice of Admission and other original documents

What Happens Next

  • PRC will issue your Notice of Admission (NOA) after successful application.
  • Room assignments are posted on the PRC website and offices before the exam.
