Last Friday, comedian Vice Ganda hinted of free TV return of It's Showtime.

“Naku! Naku! Abang abang lang kayo jan,” said Vice as he happily announced good news to Madlang People during the opening segment of It's Showtime.

"Diba sabi ko sa inyo Madlang People, better days are coming," he added.

This month, It's Showtime is celebrating their 11th anniversary.

Aside from It's Showtime, reports said ABS-CBN's flagship news program TV Patrol, the longest-running teleserye FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and musical program ASAP Natin’To are also part of the blocktime deal.

ZOE TV, with headquarters in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, was assigned frequency rights of Channel 11 for analog and Channel 20 for digital signal under call letters DZOE-TV in Metro Manila. The Congress passed its franchise to operate on July 17, 2016.

Previous blocktime arrangement of GMA News TV and ZOE TV ended in June 2019, with the former moved its operations via UHF 27. ZOE, the first broadcasting company who officially switched and migrated to digital broadcast via Light TV 33, re-aired back on analog broadcast via its flagship TV station VHF 11 on June 22, 2020.

Meanwhile, cable operarator SKY and direct-to-home (DTH) satellite provider Cignal announced the availability of ZOE TV on their channel lineup, Channel 11 and Channel 20, respectively.

ZOE, which occupies frequencies on both analog and digital, is expected to carry other Kapamilya shows this month. Viewers may also watch ZOE TV via ABS-CBN TV Plus soon and other cable and satellite TV companies.

After the denial of ABS-CBN's 25-year legislative franchise application on July 10, the embattled network continues to find ways to reach Kapamilyas through Kapamilya Channel on satellite and cable and Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and Facebook.

  2. That's what you call resilience. ABS-CBN has been proactive in dealing with the franchise denial being able to find ways so as not to deny Filipinos of the information, entertainment and educational content that has been a huge part of the evolution of our culture and society. This move will also benefit ZOE TV in many ways.
