On Facebook, Adrian Santiago shared his thoughts on a letter coming from a student who complained about "fresh grad" or newly licensed teachers. The letter was written on a piece of paper and placed on what looks like a bulletin board of other letters. While the letter was anonymous, it was clear that it came from a student.

Santiago, who is studying for a degree in Education said he was really surprised to read such "attitude" coming from a student towards a teacher.

He continued that while the complaint might be valid, the student's manner of sharing his thoughts seems improper and not productive at all.

Uulitin niya yan kasi special ka," Santiago said.

The netizen continued said that there are many ways for the student to learn more about the lessons.

Santiago also corrected the term "fresh grads" used and explained that they are actually licensure exam for teachers (LET) board passers who deserve respect.

"Ikatlo, ang mga fresh grads po natin bukod sa 4 years na pag-aaral sa kolehiyo, pasado po yan sa LET, nagreview at nagbayad [sa review center] tapos babastusin mo lang," he said.

The post has gone viral with over 9,000 shares since posting. It has also garnered over 9,000 mixed reactions from netizens.

Fresh grad teacher? Pag nakatapos yan san nyo pag tatrabahuin aber mukang d nag iisip gumawa nito d q na sana papatulan kaso parang boklogs lang nasa talampakan ata ung utak.

Base on my experience ibahin ntn kc d naman educ natapos q talaga i am an BSIT graduate nung nag grad ako i have no any idea in what will be my job.

Relate it to your self pag nakatapos ba kau sure kau na master nyo agad magiging trabaho nyo boklogs ka pala eh di ikaw na magalinh walang nag sisimula na magaling sabe nga nila experience in the best teacher. Through out your work nag cmula kang walang alam d mo alam qng pano sisimulan pero all through out your job?

Laya qng cnu man nag sabi na wag mag hire ng fresh grad na teacher wag kang mag salita ng tapos and try to step in their shoes

  4. Meron akoang teacher na first time niyang magturo (well maliban sa practice teaching niya) di sya masyadong magaling magexplain pero in some point he focuses on the slow learners which is mas pinadali niya ang lesson para mas madaling maintindihan ng student. Take note different teacher, different learning styles; I am taking up an Education Degree and this is not a good example na kailangan talagang ipost sa bulletin board ang ayaw sa teacher? Like hello? 21st Century learners kayo, Wala ba kayong pangload para maka register ng pang data niyo? Anlakas niyo magfacebook, youtube, IG, Tiktok etc pero di makaresearch. Technology is present langga kaya learn to use it para pasukan naman ng magagandang information yang utak mo. Well kaya nga merong learning environment na hindi lang dapat sa traditional classroom manggafaling ang learnings kundi outside the classroom din

Lol. Para lang yan, beginner to expert. Sabi nga ni Wendy Flynn "Allow yourself to be a beginner. No one starts off being excellent." At sabi din ni Helen Hayes "The expert in anything was once a beginner."

LIKES, TIKTOK, at mag DEPRESSDEPRESSAN. Napaka arte, sarap pasabugin at pag sasampalin

    2. ok na, agree na sana ako tas dinamay mo pa yung depression. and what pagsasampalin and pasabugin? just because they act like brats you can't just threaten to do stuff like that. They are not perfect too. Which means they make mistakes, they need to learn from their mistake, not in that way, are blaming and trashtalking genz people the only way para matuto sila? . What about the genz that literally act mature? What you said doesn't contribute anything to their learnings, you just further add flame to the fire. yun lang po.
And yung sa depression po, di mo po masisigurado na depressdepressan lang. well some people do that pero the others literally suffer from that. take note even adults suffer from that there is no age in mental disorders.

  11. pag matalino subra ang isang estudenyante di na makapag pigil sa pwedeng sasabihin o kaniyang opinyon (which is not right) dapat kasi pinag iisipan natin before tayu mag salita...

  13. The manner of delivering his thought was really disrepectful. But, I have witnessed these fresh graduate instructors' performance. Some might seem to look highly of themselves yet during discussion they can't even deliver a proper one.

Also, the complaints that I received was from from students whose IQ are from average to high average. So, im against with what the writer has suggested; "pakiulit kasi slow learner ako".

Future educators, don not take this negatively or offensively. Take this note from a student as an eye opener. That when given the opportunity to be infront of the students and teach you will perform professionally as what the students, fellow teachers, school administrators expects you to elicit.

Kaya nga may school eh tsaka may teacher para sila yung magtututro and support lng yung internet for extra knowledge.

The word "education" refers to giving instruction; "educator" refers to the person who provides instruction and is someone who is skilled in teaching; and teaching is aligned with providing explanations.home tutor
