MANILA, Philippines – Celebrity couple Sarah Geronimo and Matteo Guidicelli officially tied the knot in a civil wedding ceremony on Thursday, February 20 despite the altercation and 'Divine intervention'.
As reported, Geronimo's close-in security, Jerry Tamara filed a blotter at 3:27 a.m. February 21 at the Police Community Precinct No. 7 in Taguig City following a scuffle between him and actor Guidicelli.
According to Tamara, the incident happened inside Shang-ri La The Fort around 11:00 p.m.

Mommy Divine arrived unexpectedly and asking for a moment with her 31-year old daughter as she was not aware of the rites.

Tamara added he was accused and confronted by Matteo as the one responsible for leaking information about their wedding
No case was filed against the actor.
Geronimo and Guidicelli have confirmed their relationship way back in 2014. The couple announced their engagement last November 2019. Shortly after the engagement announcement, Guidicelli wrote a lengthy message addressed to his then fiancée's family. He admitted that things were not going smoothly between them and apologized. He also told Geronimo's family that he will love and take care of her.
Matteo earlier said, "Mahal na mahal ko po si Sarah. Mahal ko din po kayong magulang niya at mga kapatid niya. Hangad ko po na maging isang pamilya tayo. Pangako ko po na aalagan ko si Sarah na kapareho ng pangangalaga ninyo sa kanya.”
