    Marcelito Pomoy after placing 4th in AGT: "Nakakasama din ng loob"

    MANILA, Philippines – Marcelito Pomoy shared his disappointment after he failed to bring home the grand prize in America's Got Talent: The Champions.

    The singer admitted he feels hurt after he placed fourth or third runner up in the well renowned US talent competition. Marcelito, however, kept his chin up and said he still feels like a "champion."

    He said, "Kahit sino namang contestant pag tinawag kang ganun 3rd place or 4th place, nakakasama din ng loob pero okay na lang yun siyempre kasi nakilala na ko all over the world.

    Despite not winning the grand prize, Marcelito still earned the praise and respect of many, including the judges of America's Got Talent.

    Judge Heidi Klum couldn't help but remind Marcelito how special his talent is. She said, "You have the most beautiful voice, I mean beautiful voices inside of you. You are a champion and thank you for sharing your talent with us."

    Marcelito's wife Joan, who joined him on stage also expressed her appreciation. She said, "Thank you so much for everybody. This is a big, big opportunity for him. That's all. Thank you so much."

    Even before the results of the contest were announced, Marcelito already shared his heartfelt gratitude to all the support he has received. He said that whatever the result is, he would always consider himself a "champion" after he got the chance to be known all over the world.

    He wrote on Instagram, "In this scenario.. I would love if you will still watch my finale performance.. As what I am always saying... Win or Lose I know that I am already a champion because in your hearts.. I know that we won already.. We raised our Filipino Flag and represented our country to the best that I can be."
