His dad doesn’t have a job. Because money was tight, they told him it was probably best that he quit school. But Ceff did not agree with that suggestion. For him, his education matters most. Thus, he thought of ways to support himself in college. Though he was not able to enroll in college immediately after graduating from high school, Ceff found a job at the school canteen.
The following year, he decided to juggle his studies with his job at the school canteen. As a self-supporting student, he managed to enroll in college to take up the course of Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) in San Ildefonso, Bulacan.
Aside from juggling his studies with his job at the school canteen, Ceff also served as ‘sakristan’ at their local church. But things took a turn for worse when his mother suffered a stroke. This time, Ceff had to juggle his studies, his job, his ‘sakristan’ duties, and his duties in caring for his mother. The next months were tumultuous for the young student but he never gave up.
And even with the many struggles and challenges he faced throughout his studies, he wowed everyone after graduating as Magna Cum Laude! But this inspiring young man didn’t stop there because he would also achieve another milestone as he passes the Agriculturist Licensure Exam.
