MANILA, Philippines – (Updated December 31) The banking hours schedule for the 2019 Christmas holidays and operations for New Year (first week of January 2020) has been released online.
During the long holiday break, select bank branches will be open to serve their clients. Check out the updated list of banks and their schedule for December 2019 to January 3, 2020.

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Schedule
BPI extends the banking hours of over a hundred BPI and BPI Family Savings (BFSB) branches nationwide this holiday season.
On weekdays from December 9, 2019, to January 3, 2020, select BPI and BFSB branches will extend operating hours by an hour. There will also be branches open on the following Saturdays: December 7, 14, 21, and 28.

Meanwhile, select branches will be open on December 24 (Tuesday) and December 30 (Monday).

All UCPB branches will only be OPEN on December 23, 26 and 27, 2019.
"During the holidays, please use the UCPB ATMs, cash deposit machines, UCPB Connect and the UCPB Mobile Banking App for your transactions," the advisory said.
Regular banking operations will resume on Thursday, January 2, 2020.

Check clearing and settlement:
- Clearing is suspended on Dec. 24, 25, 30, 31 and Jan. 1. Checks received after the cut-off time on Dec. 23 will be processed on Dec. 26, while those received after the cut-off time on Dec. 27 will be processed on Jan. 2.
- No penalties will be charged for checks dated Dec. 24, 25, 30, 31 and Jan. 1, intended for PSBank loan payments.
Time deposits: Maturities on Dec. 24 & 25 will be processed on Dec. 26, while maturities on Dec. 30, 31 & Jan. 1 will be processed on Jan. 2.
