MANILA, Philippines – The Light Rail Transit (LRT) and Metro Rail Transit (MRT) management recently released adjusted train service schedule for 2019 Christmas holidays and New Year 2020.
LRT-1 Holiday Schedule
LRT-1 announced extended operating hours until December 31, 2019.
The first train from Baclaran and Roosevelt will depart at 4:30 am (Monday to Sunday).
The last train from Baclaran will leave at 11:00 pm (Monday to Saturday) and 9:30 pm on Sunday.
From Roosevelt, last train will depart at 11:15 pm (Monday to Saturday) and 9:45 pm on Sunday.

LRT-2 Holiday Schedule
LRT-2 announced shortened operating hours on the eves of Christmas day and New Year.
The last commercial trains will leave Cubao and Recto stations at 8:00 pm on December 24.
On December 31, the last trains will leave the two stations at 7:30 p.m.
MRT-3 Holiday Schedule
The following are MRT-3’s adjusted train service hours these holidays:
PNR Schedule
Those looking for the Philippine National Railways (PNR) train schedule may refer to the timetable posted on their website.
As of press time, no announcement yet if there will be a deviation on the normal schedule.
MMDA Advisory
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced the suspension of Number Coding Scheme for private and public utility vehicles on December 23 to 25 and December 30, 2019 to January 1, 2020.
MMDA also lifted the number coding for provincial buses from December 23 until January 2 except for December 28 and 29.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: Starting January 4, 2020 until March 31, 2020, LRT-1 will implement a temporary passenger traffic scheme in select stations (Monumento, Balintawak and Roosevelt) to accommodate the construction of the Unified Grand Central Station.
