So, imagine his happiness when the wife of his 25-year-old son recently gave birth to a boy, baby Ronaldo Ho. The old man was so happy that he reportedly ‘rewarded’ his son and his new family with no less than 100 million yuan ($14.2 million)!
On October 24, Mario Ho and his Chinese supermodel wife Ming Xi, announced the birth of their son, Ronaldo. With much happiness, the couple posed for the usual photos to post on social media.

But the birth announcement was met with anticipation by many netizens because Mario reportedly announced early this year that his parents promised to reward their children with 100 million yuan ($14.2 million) if they give birth to boys.
The 98-year-old Stanley was reportedly worried that there was no one to continue his family name despite him having so many children, boys and girls alike. So, the reward might be huge but well-deserved!
Little Ronaldo is set for life, with the money from his grandfather.
Netizens could not help but feel quite envious that this couple received so much money just for having a baby boy!
But other fans who religiously follow the supermodel and her equally social media savvy husband shared that the reward for baby Ronaldo is much lower than what the couple reportedly received from Stanley at their wedding.
While the wedding ceremony was low key despite having a lavish engagement, good old dad reportedly gave them 500 million yuan ($71 million) as a wedding gift. Wow.
But Stanley is feeling so happy about having his first grandson that he reportedly told his other children he would give the same reward to anyone who would have babies up to next year.
