Based on the survey, at least 11 candidates from Duterte-endorsed Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) coalition have a statistical chance of winning - re-electionist senators Villar, JV Ejercito, Sonny Angara, Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III, former police chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa, Bong Go, former senators Bong Revilla Jr. and Jinggoy Estrada, Pia Cayetano, Ilocos Norte Gov. Imee Marcos and former presidential political adviser Francis Tolentino.

The other factions - Nationalist People’s Coalition ( Lapid), United Nationalist Alliance (Binay) and independent (Poe) have only one candidate included in the winners’ circle.

The survey was made to 1,800 respondents from age 18 years old and above. It was conducted from May 3-6, 2019. The margin error is at + or – 2.3 percent with a confidence level of 95 percent.

Only 3 in 10 Filipinos completed their list

But even with the final survey out, Pulse Asia admitted the game is far from over yet.

According to Pulse Asia president Ronald Holmes, only 3 out of 10 Filipinos have filled up their final 12 senatoriables.

He said, “A little over a third of registered voters (36%) have a complete senatorial slate for the May 2019 elections.”

As of the survey period, Pulse Asia identified that most voters only have an average of 8 candidates in mind out of the maximum 12.
