MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday, April 25 hailed the top performing schools in the April 2019 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electrician (RME) board exam.
PRC conducted the licensure exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Lucena and Tacloban on April 15 and 16 (REE) and April 17 (RME).

In the same period last year, University of the Philippines - Los Baños (UPLB) was the lone top performing school in the REE board exam, 100.00% passing rate while De La Salle University (DLSU) - Lipa topped the RME licensure exam with 98.55%.
In April 2017, Batangas State University (BatSU) - Batangas City was named top 1 performing school for REE exams, 88.31% passing rate. DLSU - Lipa dominated the RME board with 100% passing rate.

Strong earthquake on April 22 may cause delay on the release of results due to early dismissal of work as employees need to evacuate the building for safety purposes.
Today (April 23), PRC announced the temporary suspension of services in its offices in Metro Manila. This is pursuant to the order from Malacañang to suspend work in government offices in Metro Manila, as recommended by the NDRRMC, following the strong earthquake on Monday.
