MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) named the topnotchers (top 10) of August 2018 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) in few days after the announcement of results, the complete list of passers. CSC released CSE-PPT results on Tuesday, October 9 or 58 days after the exam.

Around 20,000 takers (11%) are expected to hurdle the civil service professional level examinations.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the August 2017 CSE-PPT, Adrian Callangan from Region II (Cagayan Valley) topped the eligibility exam with 90.87%. It was followed by Bicol Region's Merynel Gratuito with 90.27%. A total of 196,819 examiness took the exams.

In the October 2016 exams, Clinton John Minglana from CARAGA region bested 175,305 total examinees of the Professional test, 91.17%. Joelle Sophia Peña from the National Capital Region (NCR) ranked second with 90.62%.

How to get test results

The complete list of successful examinees of the August 12, 2018 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test may be accessed here or on the official website of CSC.

Schedule for the release of Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional/Field Office will be announced. Passers are advised to verify first the availability of and the requirements and procedures in claiming their Certification of Eligibility before proceeding to the CSC office.

Moreover, examinees, both passed and failed, may generate their individual rating through the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed on the CSC website.
