    List of Passers: PUPCET Results AY 2015-2016 released March 10

    The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) College Entrance Test (PUPCET) results for AY 2015-2016 are officially released online on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. The complete list of passers and waitlisters are available on this page.


    PUP named a total of 15,481 examinees who have passed on the Batch 1 and 2 entrance examinations and 1,637 on the waiting list.

    Reports said that more than 40,000 graduating high school students took the PUPCET last November 29 (first batch) and February 7 (second batch) in Sta. Mesa Main Mabini Campus. The official Facebook page of PUP announced that a total of 21, 2019 took the exam on Saturday.

    "There has been an annual increase in the number of PUPCET applicants and examinees under the administration of PUP President Emanuel C. De Guzman. The number of examinees reached 41,824 in the PUPCET for Academic Year 2014-2015; 36,458 in 2013; and 34,198 in 2012," PUP Communication Management Office said.

    Same with the previous years, only around 10-20% of takers will be accepted by PUP due to the university's limited budget.

    March 6, 2015 Update: Results from the first and second batches of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines College Entrance Test (PUPCET) held on November 29, 2014 and February 7, 2015 will be posted online on Tuesday, March 10, 2015.

    Note that each campus has an allotted specific date to show the list of its successful examinees. Confirmation of slot and schedule of application are done through the university's website, and failure to confirm slot may result in the cancellation of admission to the campus.

    The University advised examinees to call the PUP Admission Services hotlines (+63 2) 335-1798 to 99) and (+63 2) 335-1797 for PUP Branches and Campuses for other inquiries or question about the PUP College Entrance Test.

    The entrance exam in PUP, conducted annually screens high school student or a high school graduate whose academic performance is above-average and has a good moral character. Those who are qualified in the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET) based on the cut-off score for the upcoming school year are the following: graduating high school students of the current year with a General Average of at least 82% or higher in first three (3) years in high school or High school graduates with General Weighted Average of 82% or higher in the first three (3) years in high school and with a General Average of 82% in the Fourth Year and and have not enrolled in any diploma/degree program immediately after high school graduation.

    The country's first polytechnic and largest university is using PUP iApply website for the application. An applicant is only allowed to apply and take the PUPCET in one campus and only once in an academic year
