MANILA, Philippines - Every once in a while, our faith in humanity gets restored through inspiring stories of kindness. In a world full of negativity, some people manage to spread positivity in their own little ways.

Honest restaurant staff gains online fame for returning bag with P37K cash

Take for instance this restaurant service crew who chose to return a bag containing cash and some valuable items to its rightful owner. Christian Jay Talamisan, a restaurant crew at Bacolod Chicken Inasal at Jupiter, Makati branch, is inspiring netizens with his incredible act of kindness.

In a viral Facebook post, Ken Hicban recounted how he was able to retrieve his lost bag with the help of some staff of the restaurant and Talamisan. Apparently, Hicban was on his way to his nephew’s birthday celebration when he noticed that his bag was missing. He immediately called up Bacolod Chicken Inasal, where he dined earlier.

Although they weren’t expecting to find the bag, Hicban surprisingly got it back. Despite knowing the contents of the bag, Talamisan resisted temptation and gave it back to Hicban.

Hicban decided to share Talamisan’s story to show his gratitude and inspire others.

Meanwhile, Talamisan believes that other staff of the said restaurant would have done the same thing for Hicban.
