Nancy Binay and Koko Pimentel who refused to attend their proclamation rites are also present at the ceremony.

Present on the proclamation ceremony are VP Jejomar Binay, Manila Mayor-elect Joseph Estrada, Senators Manny Villar and Vicente Sotto III.

On Thursday, Comelec proclaimed the top 6 senators inspite of some petitions from United Nationalist Alliance for their so called 'premature proclamation'. Initial Senators-elect proclaimed are Grace Poe, Loren Legarda, Alan Peter Cayetano, Francis Escudero and Sonny Angara under Team Pnoy and Nancy Binay from United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).

Last night, 3 more winning senators were proclaimed by NBoC. Based on 113 certificates of canvass, Bam Aquino, Koko Pimentel and Antonio Trillanes were proclaimed on ranked 7th to 9th but only the Presidential cousin was present during the official ceremonies.

Beginning June 30, 2013 the new senators will start to serve for six years, Comelec said.

NBOC completed the receiving and canvassing all the Certificates of Canvass from all regions nationwide. As of 5:30 p.m., a total of 129 COCs have been canvassed including at least 24 from the Overseas Absentee Voting.

The Comelec is waiting for 172 remaining COCs of the Overseas Absentee Voting (OAV) from 196 polling places around the world.
