1,216 Pass the 2026 PMA Entrance Exam

The 2026 PMAEE had 25,452 qualified examinees, of whom 1,216 successfully passed, resulting in a 4.78% passing rate.

The examination was conducted at 48 testing centers across the country from July to September 2026. PMA received a total of 36,596 online applications for this year's admission cycle.

According to Dacanay, the number of successful examinees accounted for a lower passing rate than the previous year's reported figure.

The Academy said the top-performing examinees demonstrated the level of academic ability and potential sought through its competitive and merit-based recruitment process.

What Happens After the PMAEE?

Passing the PMA Entrance Examination does not automatically guarantee admission to the Philippine Military Academy. Successful examinees must still complete the succeeding stages of the selection and admission process.

These include the Complete Physical Examination, Physical Fitness Test, psychological and neuropsychiatric assessment, Aptitude for Service Interview, submission of required documents, and Cadet Procurement Board deliberation.

Only applicants who successfully complete the required stages and receive final appointment will be admitted as PMA cadets.
