MANILA, Philippines – The Civil Service Commission (CSC) released the list of topnotchers or top 10 passers in the August 2026 Civil Service Exam or Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT). View here the complete list of the highest placers in the Professional Level.
The CSC released the August 2026 CSE-PPT list of passers on October 6, 2026, 58 calendar days after the examination.
A total of 34,719 out of 240,934 examinees (14.41%) passed the August 2026 Civil Service Exam. Of the total passers, 31,855 out of 220,335 examinees (14.46%) passed the Professional Level, while 2,864 out of 20,599 examinees (13.90%) passed the Subprofessional Level.

The August 2026 CSE-PPT was conducted on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at testing centers nationwide. The examinations were administered through the CSC regional offices in Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Quezon and MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, SOCCSKSARGEN, CARAGA, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
Meanwhile, the civil service exam in Region IV-A (Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal), the Cordillera Administrative Region (Baguio, La Trinidad, and Abra), and the National Capital Region (NCR) was suspended due to severe weather conditions. According to the CSC, the suspension affected 67,255 registered applicants.

The overall passing rate for the August 2026 Civil Service Exam was 14.41%, with 34,719 passers out of 240,934 examinees.

Previous Examinations
In the March 2026 Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for the Professional Level, Jannah Arumpac Masbud of Region XII emerged as the topnotcher with an outstanding rating of 98.60%. Jholene Ylysa Ladores Salimbot (NCR) ranked second with 97.77%.
In the August 2025 Career Service Examination – Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) for the Professional Level, Lauren Gillianne T. Closas of the National Capital Region (NCR) emerged as the topnotcher with an outstanding rating of 97.39%. Rochelle Anne Joy V. Roxas, also from NCR, ranked second with 96.97%.
Earlier in the March 2025 CSE-PPT Professional Level, Charina Mae P. Tigbayan of NCR led the passers with an impressive 97.91% rating. Isaiah Gil E. Ortiz, likewise from NCR, placed second with 97.24%.
In the August 2024 CSE-PPT, Mark Justine M. Domingo of Region IV secured the top spot with 97.49%, while Joyce D. Dublin of Region VII followed in second place with 96.47%.

The complete list of successful examinees of the August 2026 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test may be accessed through the official website of the CSC.
The schedule for the release of the Certification of Eligibility at the CSC Regional/Field Office will be announced. Passers are advised to verify first the availability, requirements, and procedures for claiming their Certification of Eligibility before proceeding to the CSC office.
Examinees, whether passed or failed, can generate their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can also be accessed through the CSC website within 14 days after the release of the list of passers.
