MANILA, Philippines — A total of 842 out of 1,482 examinees passed the September 2026 Geodetic Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination (GECBLE), giving the examination a national passing rate of 56.82%, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.
The September 2026 examination posted the highest national passing rate among the Geodetic Engineers licensure examination results available in PRC's modern historical record, based on results that can be verified from September 2010 onward.
The 56.82% passing rate surpassed the previous high of 55.90% recorded in September 2025, when 739 out of 1,322 examinees passed.
Ma. Alexa Landicho Sy Tamco of Batangas State University-Alangilan topped the September 2026 GECBLE with a rating of 90.60%.
Roxy Blue Torres de Jesus of the University of Southeastern Philippines-Davao City ranked second with a rating of 90.40%.

The following examinees landed in the top ranks of the September 2026 Geodetic Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination:
Batangas State University-Alangilan, Visayas State University-Baybay lead schools
Batangas State University-Alangilan and Visayas State University-Baybay both posted a 100% passing rate among schools with at least 20 examinees.
Batangas State University-Alangilan recorded 61 passers, while Visayas State University-Baybay had 28 passers.
The University of the Philippines-Diliman followed with a 98.25% passing rate, with 56 of its 57 examinees successfully passing the examination.
Highest GELE passing rate since 2015
The September 2026 examination posted the highest national passing rate among the Geodetic Engineers licensure examinations listed from 2015 onward.
The previous highest was the 55.90% passing rate recorded in September 2025, when 739 out of 1,322 examinees passed.
The September 2026 rate of 56.82% was therefore 0.92 percentage point higher than the previous high.
Other recent examination passing rates included 54.85% in October 2019, 54.03% in December 2021, 53.18% in October 2018, and 52.71% in October 2022.
September 2026 GECBLE
The September 2026 Geodetic Engineers Computer-Based Licensure Examination was administered by the Board of Geodetic Engineering in NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Puerto Princesa, Palawan.
The Board of Geodetic Engineering was composed of Engr. Epifanio D. Lopez, chairman, and Engr. Concordio D. Zuñiga and Engr. Randolf S. Vicente, members.
The results were released two working days after the last day of the examination.
Registration for new geodetic engineers
Starting November 9, 2026, successful examinees may register online for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (PIC) and Certificate of Registration.
Successful examinees are advised to visit the official PRC website and follow the instructions for online registration.
Those registering are required to bring the following:
- Screenshot of the system-generated Registration Form
- Valid government-issued ID
Successful examinees must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue of the oathtaking ceremony for the new successful examinees will be announced later by the PRC.
