MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Monday, September 14, 2026, that 1,676 out of 3,399 (49.31%) passed the September 2026 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Exam (REELE), given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in 17 testing centers all over the Philippines.
Dan Joel Monte de Leon from Palompon Institute of Technology-Palompon and Charles Anthony Saceda Santillan from Cebu Institute of Technology -University topped the REELE with 94.25% rating. Jeff Kepler Sombilon Teves from Cebu Technological University-Tuburan ranked second with 94.00% grade.
Meanwhile, University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) was hailed top 1 performing school in the September 2026 Electrical Engineering board exam with 100% passing rate. Pangasinan State University-Urdaneta followed with 86.67%.
PRC released results in five working days after the last day of examination.

The members of the Board of Electrical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Adelino V. Garcia Jr, Chairman; Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza and Engr. Alex C. Cabugao, Members.
Starting October 12, 2026, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line.
Passers must bring the following documents when completing the registration process:
- Screenshot or printed copy of the system-generated Registration Form;
- Valid government-issued ID.
The PRC will announce oathtaking schedules in few days after the release of exam results, and those attending in person must register by noon the day before via https://online.prc.gov.ph.
Inductees must print and bring their personalized Oath Form with a QR code for attendance tagging; those unable to attend in person can opt for an online or special oathtaking.
Following the ceremony, inductees must schedule their Initial Registration online through the same portal.
