MANILA, Philippines – The August 2026 Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Exam (CPMLE) results, including the full list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools, and performance of schools, are released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, three (3) working days after the exam.
The PRC Board of Mechanical Engineering administered the CPM board exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, and Pampanga on August 7, 8, and 9, 2026.
The Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) was also held in the same date and locations, including Butuan, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Release of Results
According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the August 2026 Certified Plant Mechanics Computer-Based Licensure Examination (CPMLE) results will be released on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, three (3) working days after the tests.
Please note that the release of the CPMLE results may vary and could be posted earlier or later than the expected date. For reference, the February 2026 MELE results were also released after three (3) working days. We recommend bookmarking this page and following our social media channels to stay updated with the latest and most accurate announcements.
Registration and Oathtaking
The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to https://online.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Date of Registration: TBA
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form
- valid government-issued ID
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.
Verification of Ratings
All examinees of the August 2026 Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Exam (CPMLE), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.
Refer to PRC Official Website to check your board exam ratings or score.
The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.
Examination Coverage
Licensure examinations for CPM covered the following: elements of power plant machinery (Day 1), shop machinery practice (Day 2), and elements of industrial plant machinery (Day 3).
Previous Examinations
In the February 2026 Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Examination (CPMLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results within three (3) working days after the examination. A total of 100 out of 120 examinees passed, equivalent to an 83.33% passing rate.
For the August 2025 CPMLE, the PRC announced the results after four (4) working days. Of the 159 examinees, 84 successfully passed, resulting in a 52.83% passing rate.
Meanwhile, the February 2025 CPMLE results were released within three (3) working days, with 30 out of 84 examinees passing the examination, or a 35.71% passing rate.
