MANILA, Philippines – Construction continues on the Tagaytay Tourist (Iconic Tower), a multi-phase government infrastructure project envisioned to become a new landmark and premier tourism destination in Southern Luzon.

The mixed-use development is rising along Crisanto M. De Los Reyes Avenue in Barangay Kaybagal South, within the Tagaytay Government Center and near Sky Ranch, through a joint initiative of the City Government of Tagaytay and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Once completed, the tower will feature a 360-degree observation deck overlooking Taal Lake and Taal Volcano, together with dining, retail, leisure, and commercial spaces designed to enhance the city's tourism appeal.
Developers expect the Tagaytay Tourist Iconic Tower to become the tallest structure in Cavite and one of the tallest landmark towers in the Philippines.
The project has been implemented in multiple phases under successive DPWH contracts since it was included in the agency's FY 2021 infrastructure program.
According to official DPWH documents, more than ₱1 billion has already been allocated for the project's various phases of construction, with Phase 15 also included in the government's Fiscal Year 2026 Infrastructure Program.
The total number of floors and the project's official target completion date have yet to be publicly disclosed by the government.
The project has also undergone geotechnical and soil investigations to help ensure the tower's structural stability given Tagaytay's seismic setting and proximity to Taal Volcano.
Once operational, the Tagaytay Tourist Iconic Tower is expected to attract more visitors, generate employment opportunities, create additional revenue for the city through the lease of commercial spaces, and further strengthen Tagaytay's position as one of the Philippines' leading tourism destinations.
