MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases on Tuesday, June 16, the results of May 2026 Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electrician (RME). The REE and RME board exam was given by the Board of Electrical Engineering (BEE) composed of Engr. Francis V. Mapile, Chairman and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, Member.
The examination was held in Singapore and Taiwan on May 29, 30, and 31, 2026.
According to PRC, the conduct of SPLE for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 1034 (s. 2017), Republic Act No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.

Release of Results
According to the PRC's advisory on the target release date of SPLE results, the results of the May 2026 SPLE for Electrical Engineers and Master Electricians are scheduled to be released on June 16, 2026.
We advise takers to regularly monitor result announcements, as the results may be released earlier or later than the target date without prior notice.
Initial Registration
Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please visit the official PRC website (www.prc.gov.ph) and follow the instructions for registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Screenshot of system-generated Registration Form
- valid government-issued ID
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Coverage of Examination
The REE board exam covers the following subjects: mathematics (25%), engineering and applied sciences (30%) and electrical engineering professional subjects (30%).
