MANILA, Philippines — More Filipinos will soon be able to watch “Coco Martin’s Sigabo” as the highly anticipated action-drama series begins airing on TV5 starting June 22 at 8 p.m.

The move comes as ABS-CBN and TV5 renew their partnership to bring the much-awaited primetime program to a wider audience across the country.
Aside from TV5, the series will also air simultaneously on ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live on YouTube and Facebook, and iWant.
Headlined by Coco Martin and Julia Montes, “Sigabo” promises a unique blend of action, romance, and comedy that aims to entertain Filipino families every weeknight.
The series marks Coco’s highly anticipated primetime return following the continued success of his previous action-drama projects.
Excitement surrounding the program intensified after ABS-CBN released its official trailer, which showcased cinematic action scenes, emotional storytelling, and the chemistry between its lead stars.
Coco previously expressed pride in the project, describing it as his first original concept and a production that reflects years of growth in television action storytelling.
In an interview with “TV Patrol,” the actor said the team worked hard to elevate the series following the achievements of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
In “Sigabo,” Coco portrays Gabo, a devoted son and former convict who accepts a secret mission in exchange for his freedom and eventually crosses paths with Sam, a lawyer and investigative agent played by Julia.
The action-romance series also features a star-studded cast that includes JC De Vera, JM De Guzman, Arci Muñoz, Sue Ramirez, Jhong Hilario, Edu Manzano, Carmi Martin, Chanda Romero, Irma Adlawan, Joey Marquez, and other notable actors.
Industry personalities have likewise praised Coco’s contributions to Philippine action entertainment, with acclaimed filmmaker Erik Matti crediting him for helping revive audience interest in the genre.
As the June 22 premiere approaches, Coco and Julia continue their nationwide motorcade, meeting supporters and building anticipation for the launch of “Sigabo” across multiple platforms.
