PUP releases PUPCET 2026 results

The announcement will be posted by PUP Official shortly after 12:00 a.m.

PUPCET takers may check their results by logging in to their accounts through the PUP iApply portal at https://iapply.pup.edu.ph/signin.

According to the PUP Communication Management Office, nearly 100,000 applicants took the PUPCET for the Sta. Mesa Campus alone. The entrance examination was conducted in four batches held on selected dates in January, February, and March 2026.

The University earlier announced that around 20,000 slots are available for incoming freshmen for AY 2026–2027. Of the total number, about 10,000 to 12,000 slots are allotted for the Sta. Mesa Main Campus, while the remaining slots are distributed across PUP’s regional and branch campuses nationwide.

Based on the figures, the estimated passing rate is below 10 percent, making admission to the University highly competitive.

Applicants for the Sta. Mesa Campus mostly came from the National Capital Region (NCR), Central Luzon, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA, while thousands of examinees also traveled from the Visayas and Mindanao to take the examination.

Among the most in-demand degree programs are Civil Engineering, Accountancy, Psychology, Tourism Management, and Information Technology. These programs are expected to fill up quickly during the enrollment period.

Enrollment for qualified applicants is set to begin in July 2026. PUP earlier said that face-to-face classes will continue for major subjects and board programs.

Meanwhile, classes for the first semester of AY 2026–2027 are expected to begin in August 2026.
