MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases the complete results of the April 2026 Midwifery Licensure Exam (MidLE), including the list of top-performing schools and the overall performance of institutions, on Monday, April 20, 2026.

PRC conducted the Midwives Licensure Exam on April 14 and 15, 2026 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

Previous Examinations

In the November 2025 Midwife Licensure Examination (MLE), Tagoloan Community College led the schools in the 30 or more examinees category, achieving a perfect 100% passing rate with all 85 candidates successfully passing. Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College–Main Campus placed second with a 98.51% passing rate, as 66 out of 67 examinees passed.

During the April 2025 MLE, Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU)–Main Campus dominated the same category, posting a 100% passing rate with all 82 examinees passing the board. The University of Northern Philippines (UNP)–Vigan ranked second with a 97.56% passing rate, equivalent to 40 out of 41 passers.

In the November 2024 Licensure Examination for Midwives, St. Alexius College and Davao Medical School Foundation both recorded a 100% passing rate, with 56 and 35 passers, respectively. Bohol Island State University (BISU)–Calape followed with a 98.33% passing rate, or 59 out of 60 examinees.

Meanwhile, in the April 2024 MLE, BPSU–Main Campus once again topped the list with a 98.46% passing rate, with 64 out of 65 examinees passing. Cavite State University (CavSU) secured second place with a 94.59% passing rate, or 35 out of 37 passers.
