MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday, April 8, that 1,954 out of 2,781 examinees, or 70.26%, successfully passed the March 2026 Physicians Licensure Examination (PLE) administered by the Board of Medicine in testing centers nationwide.

However, the name of the Top 1 examinee was withheld by the PRC for further verification. Meanwhile, Alexis Bernardo Temblique of Cagayan State University-Tuguegarao ranked second with a rating of 90.58%.

According to the PRC, the examination results of five (5) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations, while the result of one (1) examinee was withheld for further verification.

Far Eastern University–Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation was declared the top performing school in the category with 100 or more examinees, posting a 94.83% passing rate. In the 50 to 99 examinees category, Davao Medical School Foundation topped the list with an 87.80% passing rate.

The results were released four (4) working days after the last day of the examination.

The successful examinees who garnered the ten (10) highest places in the March 2026 Physician Licensure Exam (PLE) are the following:


Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will begin on April 22, 2026 and will be conducted online.

Initial registrants are advised to proceed to the official PRC website and follow the instructions for initial registration. Applicants must prepare the following requirements:

  • Downloaded and duly accomplished Oath Form (Panunumpa ng Propesyonal)
  • Notice of Admission (for identification only)
  • Two (2) passport-sized colored photos with white background and complete name tag
  • Two (2) sets of documentary stamps
  • One (1) short brown envelope

The PRC is expected to announce the schedule of oathtaking ceremonies in the coming days. Those who wish to attend the in-person ceremony must register online by noon of the day prior to the scheduled oathtaking via https://online.prc.gov.ph.

Inductees are required to print and bring their personalized Oath Form bearing a QR code, which will be used for attendance verification. Those who cannot attend the face-to-face ceremony may opt for an online or special oathtaking.

After the oath-taking ceremony, inductees must schedule their initial registration through the same PRC online portal.
