MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) releases on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, the results of the March 2026 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), including the list of top-performing schools and overall performance of schools.
PRC administered the first regular Physician board exam this year in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on March 23, 24, 30, and 31, 2026.

Previous Examinations
In the October 2025 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE), Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila topped the schools in the 100 or more examinees category with a 99.05% passing rate, as 104 out of 105 examinees successfully passed. Meanwhile, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) led the 50–99 examinees category after achieving a perfect 100% passing rate, with all 78 examinees passing the test.
For the March 2025 PLE, Xavier University emerged as the lone top-performing school, recording an 80.70% passing rate with 46 out of 57 examinees passing the licensure examination.
The October 2024 PLE saw the University of the Philippines (UP) Manila leading all schools with an impressive 96.97% passing rate, equivalent to 160 out of 165 examinees passing. Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) followed closely with a 95.31% passing rate, or 122 out of 128 examinees.
Earlier, in the April 2024 PLE, the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC) ranked first among top-performing schools with an 89.23% passing rate, as 58 out of 65 examinees passed. The University of Santo Tomas (UST) placed second with an 84.85% passing rate, or 56 out of 66 examinees.
