MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Science High School (PSHS) released today, March 30, the official results of the 2026 National Competitive Examination (NCE) for School Year 2026–2027. View here the A-C list of qualifiers.
Hon. Renato Solidum Jr., Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Chair of the PSHS System Board of Trustees, announced the names of the successful examinees during the Pisay NCE 2026 Press Conference held at the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Building in Quezon City.
The PSHS conducted the NCE on January 31 and February 7, 2026 at various testing centers nationwide.
According to PSHS, only 1,738 out of 20,232 students (8.59%) who took the examination successfully passed and qualified for admission as incoming Grade 7 scholars for the upcoming school year.

The official list of NCE 2026 passers will also be published in newspapers.
Successful qualifiers are advised to immediately contact the Registrar or Campus Director of their respective PSHS campuses to confirm their slots. PSHS announced that the deadline for slot confirmation is April 24, 2026 for Main Campus qualifiers and May 4, 2026 for regional campus qualifiers. Each PSHS campus will release specific schedules for other enrollment activities.
About the NCE
The NCE is a one-time nationwide screening examination conducted by PSHS to determine the qualifiers for its scholarship program. It is open only to students seeking admission to Grade 7 and is designed to assess advanced skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
