MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Science High School System (PSHS) released on Monday, March 30, 2026, the official results of the 2026 National Competitive Examination (NCE) for School Year 2026–2027. The list of passers or qualifiers is now available online.
The names of the successful examinees were announced by Hon. Renato Solidum Jr., Secretary of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) and Chair of the PSHS System Board of Trustees.
According to PSHS, a total of only 1,738 out of 20,232 (8.59%) successfully passed the competitive examination and qualified for admission as incoming Grade 7 scholars for the upcoming school year. The official total number of examinees nationwide has not yet been publicly disclosed.
The PSHS administered the NCE on January 31, 2026 and February 7, 2026 in various testing centers across the country.

All passers are advised to immediately contact the Registrar or Campus Director of the PSHS campus where they qualified.
PSHS announced that the deadline for slot confirmation is April 24, 2026 for Main Campus qualifiers and May 4, 2026 for regional campus qualifiers.
Each PSHS campus will also release the specific schedule for other enrollment-related activities.
The NCE is a one-time nationwide screening examination conducted annually by the PSHS System to determine qualifiers for its scholarship program. The exam is open only to students seeking admission to Grade 7.
Where to Check the NCE Results
Aside from thesummitexpress.com, the official results will be published in newspapers and will be posted in the official website (pshs.edu.ph).
Successful examinees will also receive individual notifications through the registered email addresses used during application.
