LERT RESULTS 2026 – The February 2026 Respiratory Therapists Licensure Exam (LERT) results, including the official list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools, and performance of schools, are expected to be released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) between February 10–13, 2026, immediately after the exams.

The PRC Board of Respiratory Therapy administered the computer-based licensure exam for respiratory therapist in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Pagadian, Pampanga, and Tuguegarao on February 9 and 10, 2026.

The members of the Board of Respiratory Therapy who gave the licensure examination are Julita V. Toledo, Chairman; Senen O. Teope and Jesus M. Espinas, Members.

Release of Results

According to PRC Resolution No. 2113 s. 2025, the February 2026 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination (LERT) results will be released on Friday, February 13, 2026, three (3) working days after the tests.

Due to the computer-based format of the examination, the LERT results are expected to be released immediately after the tests. Examinees may anticipate the official results as early as Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

Note: The release of the Respiratory Therapist Board Exam results may vary and could be posted earlier or later than the expected date. For reference, the February 2025 LERT results were released in two (2) working days after the last day of exam. We recommend bookmarking this page and following our social media channels to stay updated with the latest and most accurate announcements.

Registration and Oathtaking

PRC announced that registration for the issuance of the Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be conducted online. Passers are advised to visit the official PRC website at https://online.prc.gov.ph/ and follow the step-by-step instructions for initial registration.

Date of Registration: TBA

Those who will register are required to bring the following:

  • downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • notice of admission (for identification only)
  • 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps
  • 1 piece short brown envelope

All successful examinees are required to personally complete their registration and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals.

Meanwhile, the schedule and venue for the oathtaking ceremony will be announced at a later date.

Verification of Ratings

All examinees of the February 2026 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Exam (LERT), successful and unsuccessful, may verify their ratings online in few working days after the posting of results.

Refer to PRC Official Website to check your board exam ratings or score.

The examinee is required to provide only the exam name, examination date, application number, first name, last name, and date of birth.

Coverage of Examination

The February 2026 Respiratory Therapist board exams covered topics from Diagnostics (25%), Pathophysiology (25%), Respiratory Care (25%) and Neonatal and Pediatric Care (25%).

Previous Examinations

In the February 2025 Respiratory Therapists Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 853 out of 1,097 examinees passed the test. Erma Mae Yongco Sanchez of Cebu Doctors University topped the board with a 94.00% rating.

In February 2024, a total of 1,077 out of 1,383 examinees successfully passed the licensure examination. Adrian Justin Gallo Marasigan of Perpetual Help College of Manila led the passers with a 91.75% score.

Meanwhile, during the February 2023 Respiratory Therapist Licensure Examination, 955 out of 1,345 examinees made the cut. Prince Joshua Guzman Carag (Cagayan State University – Andrews Campus), Elaine Fleur Usman Fino (Emilio Aguinaldo College–Dasmariñas), Shaira Lynneth Ludovice (University of Perpetual Help System–Laguna), Hiyasmin Cortez Ramos (CSU – Andrews Campus), and Michel Josef Maglantay Ramos (University of Batangas) shared the top spot with identical ratings of 90.75%.

Results were out in two (2) working days after the last day of examination.

About the Respiratory Therapist Profession

A respiratory therapist is a licensed healthcare professional who assesses, treats, and manages patients with cardiopulmonary disorders under the supervision of a physician.

They conduct diagnostic tests, interpret results, administer respiratory treatments, perform pulmonary function testing, provide life support, and assist in airway management and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).

In the Philippines, the Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy is a four-year degree program, with tuition estimated at around Php 45,000 per semester.
