MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces on Tuesday, January 27, the complete results of the January 2026 Architect Licensure Exam (ALE), including the list of the top performing schools and over-all performance of educational institutions.

PRC and the Board of Architecture (BoA) conducted the licensure exam in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga on January 20 and 22, 2026.

Here's the performance of schools in the January 2026 Architect Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation":

Previous Examinations

In the June 2025 Architect Licensure Examination (ALE), Mapúa University–Manila emerged as the top-performing school with a 98.41% passing rate, as 62 out of 63 examinees passed. The University of Santo Tomas (UST) followed in second place with a 94.17% passing rate, with 97 out of 103 examinees successfully hurdling the exam.

During the January 2025 ALE, UST stood as the lone top-performing school, posting an 88.10% passing rate after 74 out of 84 examinees passed.

In the June 2024 ALE, the Polytechnic University of the Philippines–Sta. Mesa led the schools with a 93.33% passing rate, with 56 out of 60 examinees passing the exam. UST ranked second, recording an 88.82% passing rate as 143 out of 161 examinees passed.

For the January 2024 ALE, UST once again emerged as the lone top-performing school, achieving an 82.09% passing rate with 110 out of 134 examinees passing.
