MANILA, Philippines — Results are out! A total of 5,594 out of 11,420 (48.98%) have passed the 2025 Philippine Bar Examinations, reports said.

Out of 13,193 registered applicants, 11,425 completed the three-day examinations held in 14 testing centers nationwide on September 7, 10, and 14, 2025.

University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law graduate Jhenroniel Sanchez topped the 2025 Bar examinations with a grade of 92.70 percent.

He was followed by Spinel Declaro of the University of Santo Tomas (UST), who secured second place with a score of 92.46 percent.

The 2025 Bar Examinations marked significant milestones, recording the highest first-day turnout and the largest number of examinees who completed the entire exam in the history of the Bar.

Supreme Court Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier served as chairperson of the Supreme Court’s Committee on Bar Examinations.

Successful examinees will take their oath and sign the Roll of Attorneys on February 6.

Widely regarded as the most prestigious and challenging professional licensure examination in the country, the Philippine Bar Examinations are the only professional exam not administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and are conducted exclusively under the supervision of the Supreme Court.
