MANILA, Philippines – For the 77th consecutive year, the University of the Philippines Manila sustained its perfect record in the Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination (PNLE) as the UP College of Nursing (UPCN) achieved a 100% passing rate in November 2025.
Since 1948, UPCN has consistently produced board exam passers, making it a symbol of excellence in Philippine nursing education.
All 68 UPCN graduates who took the PNLE this year successfully passed the exam, extending the college’s historic streak.
The college’s performance was further highlighted by 11 graduates placing in the Top 10 nationwide out of 45,192 examinees.
Charles Jasper T. Lim led the group at Top 3 with 93.40%, followed by John Christopher M. Padua at Top 5 with 93.00%.
UP Manila credited its success to a rigorous curriculum, disciplined training, and a strong culture of service that shapes nurses, locally known as IskoNars, into competent and compassionate professionals.
The university said that 77 years of perfect results reflect its unwavering commitment to producing world-class nurses for the nation.
With this unbroken streak, UP Manila continues to set the gold standard for nursing education in the Philippines.
