MANILA, Philippines – Three bettors became instant multi-millionaires after winning lotto jackpot prizes on Thursday, January 8, 2026, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced.

Two lucky bettors from Caloocan City and Los Baños, Laguna will split the Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot after correctly guessing the winning combination 09-11-30-12-24-26, worth a total of Php 104,548,763.10.
Meanwhile, a solo bettor from Project 7, Quezon City bagged the Lotto 6/42 jackpot prize of Php 10,042,884.60 after correctly guessing the winning numbers 29-32-13-17-11-09.

The bettors can claim his/her cheque at PCSO's main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two identification cards.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than PHP10,000 shall be subject to a 20-percent tax.
Meanwhile, 100 other Super Lotto bettors matched five of the six winning numbers and won Php 50,000 each, the PCSO said. Around 4,479 bettors received Php 1,200 each for correctly guessing four numbers, while 55,636 bettors won Php 50 each for matching three numbers.
For the Lotto 6/42, 39 other bettors matched five of the six winning numbers and took home Php 24,000 each. About 1,585 bettors received Php 800 each for matching four numbers, while 26,064 bettors won Php 20 each for guessing three numbers correctly.
Unclaimed prizes within a year shall be forfeited.
The Super Lotto jackpot was last won on November 11, 2025, by a lucky bettor who purchased the winning ticket at a lotto outlet in Santo Domingo, Nueva Ecija.
Meanwhile, the most recent Lotto 6/42 winner was recorded on January 1, 2026, when a bettor from Provincial Road, Gov. Leviste, Brgy. Maraouy, Lipa City, Batangas claimed the jackpot prize.
The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, while the Lotto 6/42 is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles urged the public to support the agency’s gaming products in order to raise additional revenue for health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities.
One of its key programs is the Medical Access Program (MAP), which is designed to augment the medical needs of Filipinos nationwide, particularly hospital confinement, chemotherapy, dialysis, and post-transplant medicines.
The program is funded by revenues from PCSO games nationwide.
